The technology is simple. When an internet-connected device (computer, server, mobile device, etc) connects to a website or internet resource, the device must first perform a DNS query to locate the IP address. 

Human Firewall, the recursive DNS service, appropriately directs the endpoint to all allowed resources. When the device tries to access malicious or undesirable content, it is redirected to a safe IP address and landing page.
